For the third time in less than three years, Elyria police executed a drug-related search warrant at a residence on Case Avenue. On the morning of July 11, around 7:05 a.m., members of the Elyria Police Department’s Special Response Team, along with the Narcotics Unit and Detective Bureau, carried out a search and arrest operation at 904 Case Avenue.
According to police, the focus of the investigation was 20-year-old Tyler Jalowiec. Officers reported seizing suspected fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency during the search.
Jalowiec was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges, including:
- Trafficking in Fentanyl (Felony 3)
- Possession of Fentanyl (Felony 4)
- Possession of Criminal Tools (Felony 5)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor 4)
This marks the third time since September 2022 that Elyria officers have served a search warrant at the same address. Police also confirmed that Jalowiec is currently on probation from a previous arrest at the location, tied to a search warrant executed in January 2024.
