South Lorain is preparing for a fun afternoon with the Oakwood Park Easter Celebration on April 19th. This community event, organized by Antonio Baez and Terry Atkinson, along with the City of Lorain Parks and Recreation, Lorain 6th Ward Councilman Angel Arroyo, and Fit for Youth, will bring Easter cheer to Oakwood Park.
A Celebration for South Lorain
“We’re excited to bring this Oakwood Park Easter Celebration to South Lorain,” says Antonio Baez, one of the event organizers. “It’s a great chance for our community to connect, enjoy the park, and make good memories.” Organizers designed this Easter event to bring families together and build community spirit.
Community Spirit in Action
The event, open to everyone, will likely bring residents from across Lorain, who want to join in the holiday fun. The partnership with the City of Lorain Parks and Recreation, Councilman Arroyo, and Fit for Youth shows the community’s effort to create a good time for local families.
“We are happy to support this family fun event,” states Councilman Angel Arroyo. “It’s important to give our residents fun, family events that build community spirit.”
