Elyria, OH – Petra Pintar, the 20-year-old woman who had been missing since February 3rd, 2025, has been located and is safe, according to an update from the Elyria Police Department. Pintar voluntarily arrived at the Elyria Police Department on Thursday, April 3rd, and met with detectives, confirming she was unharmed.
Missing Person Found Safe
The news brings relief to family and friends who had been actively searching for Pintar for the past two months. Her disappearance had prompted significant concern, especially given the circumstances surrounding the last time she was seen.

Taken into Custody on Outstanding Warrant
Upon her arrival at the police station, Pintar was taken into custody by the Lorain Police Department. Authorities stated this was due to an outstanding warrant issued by another agency. The nature of this warrant was later revealed to be for obstruction.
Boyfriend Remains a Fugitive, Wanted for Escape and Other Charges
While Pintar has been found, her boyfriend, 23-year-old Donte Parker II, remains at large. Parker was the last person believed to be with Pintar before her disappearance. He is now wanted by authorities on numerous felony charges, a federal probation warrant, and for escaping police custody.

Welfare Check Uncovers Dark Truth
The initial missing person investigation began on February 3rd, 2025, when police conducted a welfare check on Pintar at her Elyria residence. During this check, officers discovered Donte Parker hiding inside the home. He was arrested on outstanding warrants but managed to escape while handcuffed, further complicating the situation.
Alleged Assault and Attempts to Distance
According to reports, Pintar and Parker had a brief relationship that turned volatile. Parker allegedly assaulted Pintar, and she had been attempting to distance herself from him in the period leading up to her disappearance. Friends and family voiced concerns that Pintar would not have vanished willingly and feared for her safety.
Public Assistance Still Needed
The Elyria Police Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding Pintar’s disappearance and is actively seeking information on the whereabouts of Donte Parker. He is considered potentially armed and dangerous, and the public is urged not to approach him. Anyone with information regarding Donte Parker’s location is asked to contact Detective Jeb Larson at 440-326-1211 or via email at [email protected]. Authorities had previously indicated Parker might be in the Flint, Michigan or Genesee County, Michigan area. The search for him remains a priority for law enforcement.
