Police say Bunt provided consent to search the vehicle. During the search, officers discovered a Smith & Wesson SD9VE 9mm handgun with a magazine containing seven bullets, approximately 1.6 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine that tested positive in a field test, several small baggies commonly used for packaging narcotics, an orange powder later identified as a substance suspected to be Suboxone, an orange oval pill believed to be Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, a foldable container with crystal meth residue and a credit card, and a tooter straw and additional baggies containing residue.
According to the police report, Bunt admitted the firearm belonged to her and acknowledged purchasing methamphetamine in Florida a few days earlier. She also reportedly told officers that she used meth during a 19-hour drive from Florida to Ohio and that the orange powder was Suboxone.
