The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Najia Foundation to host a holiday giveaway for local families during the Christmas season.

The free community event will take place Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Top Fish and Chicken, located at 1509 Grafton Road in Elyria.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, families attending the event will receive hams and turkeys, while children will have the opportunity to select a toy. The event is intended to help families enjoy a warmer and brighter holiday season.
Sheriff Jack M. Hall said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the community.

“We are thankful for our partnership with the Najia Foundation and their generosity toward our community,” Hall said. “By working together, we are able to help families enjoy a warmer, brighter holiday season.”
In addition to the food and toy distribution, the Najia Foundation will host a free shopping experience for families. Attendees will be able to select brand-new clothing items for women at no cost, including hats, purses, jewelry, boots and other items, all new with tags.
The foundation will also offer jewelry-making activities for children, allowing them to create necklaces and bracelets. Lunch will be served to children during the event.
The giveaway is open to families with children and is designed to provide both holiday cheer and practical support to those in need.
