LORAIN — Lorain police welcomed a new officer Thursday as Kelvin Jones was sworn in during a ceremony.
Jones is beginning a new chapter serving the Lorain community. Photographs from the ceremony show him receiving his oath-of-office certificate and having his badge pinned to his uniform.
“We’re excited to have him here, get to know him and watch him grow throughout his career with the department,” police said in announcing his appointment.
