During Tuesday night’s Lorain County Board of Commissioners meeting, Commissioner Marty Gallagher announced that his administrative assistant, Blaze Bickley, has stepped down from her position due to personal reasons.
“Blaze Bickley was my administrative assistant. She did a wonderful job,” Gallagher said. “She had some family issues that really took her away, and unfortunately, she had to resign. I wish Blaze the best of luck.”
Gallagher praised Bickley’s contributions to the office and noted that she would be eligible for rehire in the future.
The announcement came following an executive session and just before the board approved its personnel summary sheet. At this time, no replacement has been named, and no timeline has been provided for filling the vacancy.
We will continue to follow this story and report any updates as they become available.
