Lorain Police Announce Funeral Details for Officer Wagner

LORAIN, OH – The Lorain Police Department has released official details for the memorial service honoring Officer Phillip C. Wagner, who passed away in the line of duty. The ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, 2025, and will take place at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

According to a press release issued by Chief of Police Michael Failing, the service is open to the public, law enforcement agencies, community members, and media. Officer Wagner’s dedication to public service and the City of Lorain will be recognized during the memorial.

General public arrival will begin at 10:00 AM, with the memorial service set to start promptly at 11:00 AM.

Attendees are asked to use the Cliffs Entrance at Rocket Arena, located at the corner of Huron Road and East 6th Street. The recommended parking location is the East Gateway Garage, located at 650 Huron Rd E, Cleveland, OH 44115.
