Families looking for autumn fun this weekend can head to downtown Lorain for First Lutheran Church’s Fall Fest, happening Saturday, October 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1019 West Fifth Street.
The free, family-friendly event will feature a “Touch-a-Truck” experience where children can climb aboard and explore big trucks and cool machines. Other activities include pumpkin decorating, face painting for kids of all ages, and delicious fall treats like fresh donuts and cider.
Donations will be accepted to support the Lorain Police Department.
Organizers describe the afternoon as a celebration of “Honk, Harvest, and Happiness,” offering a chance for the community to gather, enjoy seasonal activities, and create memories in the heart of Lorain.
