Trunk or Treat Brings Family Fun to Black River Landing

Lorain families will have a chance to celebrate the season with costumes, candy, and community this weekend as the Trunk or Treat Fall Festival comes to Black River Landing.

The event takes place Saturday, October 4, from 12 to 1 p.m. at 421 Black River Lane, Lorain. Hosted by the Rising Titans Collaborative, the afternoon blends Halloween fun with a focus on early literacy.

Children of all ages are welcome, and while costumes aren’t required, they are encouraged. The event will feature decorated trunks with treats and games, plus free children’s books and Rising Titans swag bags for the first 75 children.

Organizers note the festival will be held in the parking lot of Black River Landing, creating a safe and festive space for families to gather and enjoy the season together.

Admission is free.
