Two people sustained gunshot wounds. A woman, Jessica Davila, was detained after allegedly attempting to collect shell casings. A handgun was later found in her vehicle. Terrell Taylor, 32, of Elyria, was arrested and charged with weapons under disability. Davila was charged with tampering with evidence. One victim was located at a Speedway gas station on Griswold Road in Elyria, after reportedly leaving the scene of the Unk’s Lounge shooting. On Sunday afternoon, social media reports indicated another shooting incident on Sunset Blvd. at approximately 4:30 PM. Questions remain regarding the veracity of these social media reports, and if a shooting did in fact occur.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding all three incidents. Key questions remain:
- Were these shootings isolated incidents, or are they connected?
- Who are the individuals responsible for the shootings?
- What was the motive behind each incident?
- What is the current condition of all the victims?
- Regarding the Sunset Blvd. incident, is the information from social media accurate?
The Lorain Police Department urges anyone with information related to these incidents to contact them immediately. As the investigations continue, this story will be updated with further details.
